International Yoga Day 2025 - 21 June 2025

Sainik School Kazhakootam celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and spirit through a series of events conducted from 06 June to 21 June 2025. The celebrations aimed to promote the ancient Indian practice of yoga, underlining its growing global relevance for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. The culmination of the celebrations took place on 21 June with a Mass Yoga Session (Yoga Shivir) held in three venue points, the Sam Manekshaw Arena, Capt Harshan Pavillion and the school Basketball Court where cadets and staff performed yoga together, symbolizing unity and harmony. The event was formally inaugurated and concluded by Col Dhirendra Kumar, Principal of Sainik School Kazhakootam, who emphasized the significance of incorporating yoga into daily life for holistic development.

Investiture Ceremony 2025 - 17 June 2025

The Investiture Ceremony was held at 0930h in the APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium on 17 June 2025. Brigadier Anurag Upadhyaya, Commander, 91 Infantry Brigade, Pangode was the Chief Guest of the event.

Intra Group-H Hockey Champions 2025 - 09 to 13 June 2025

The All India Sainik Schools Group H Hockey Championship, held from June 9 to 13, 2025, at Sainik School Kodagu, concluded with Sainik School Kazhakootam emerging as the overall champions, bringing the Hockey Champions Cup home after 29 years. The five-day event saw spirited participation from Sainik School Kazhakootam, Sainik School Amaravathinagar, Sainik School Kalikiri, and the host, Sainik School Kodagu, with approximately 180 cadets competing across Junior Boys (under 17), Junior Girls (under 17), and Sub-Junior Boys (under 15) categories, showcasing remarkable sportsmanship and skill. SSKZM secured First Place in Junior Boys, Second in Junior Girls, and Second in Sub-Junior Boys, clinching the overall title, while Sainik School Kodagu finished second overall and Sainik School Kalikiri third.
