Sainik school, Kazhakootam wone the All India Sainik School Hockey Tournament Championship on 30 July 2025, in the national level under 17 tournament held at Sainik School, Amaravati Nagar. With this victory the school has qualified for participating the 53rd Nehru Junior Hockey Tournament (under-17) which will be held at Delhi in Nov-December 2025.
